One Conference or Two?

Should the Community Papers of Florida (CPF) go back to having two conferences per year?

That is the $64 question that will be discussed at the CPF board of directors planning session and board meeting in October, and the board has asked the general membership for input. On page 2 of the August newsletter was a full page questionnaire that we asked you to complete and fax back to the CPF office. Your input is appreciated.

Currently CPF, under the format of one conference per year, is the only association that pays all costs but travel for those attending the conference. This benefit is exclusive for members who participate in the classified network.

The conference benefit includes room costs, food costs, beverages at receptions, and the training programs. The number of team members a publisher can send to the conferences is based on the publication’s distribution.
