Morley is New CPF Attorney
The Community Papers of Florida (CPF) board of directors has agreed to terms with Samuel J. Morley to represent the association.

Morley is the general counsel for the Florida Press Association (FPA). He handles legal affairs for the FPA as well as for the Florida Press Service.

He has held the FPA general counsel position since 2004, and has represented the FPA before the state legislature and administrative agencies. Additionally, he conducts legal seminars and oversees the FPA legal hotline, which provides legal advice to newspapers throughout the state.

Morley is currently the chair of the Florida Bar Media Law Committee and the author of several articles in various legal publications.

A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute, he earned a law degree from Wake Forest University. He was a member of the Holland and Knight law firm for 15 years as an associate and partner.

Morley is a recipient of the Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Award, a past member of Leadership Tallahassee, and a past president and member of the board of directors of Capital City Youth Services.
