Jack Glarrow Named to CPF Board of Directors
The Community Papers of Florida (CPF) Board of Directors has agreed to appoint Jack Glarrow to a vacant spot on the board.

Since 1999, Glarrow has been the president and publisher of the Breeze Newspapers in Southwest Florida. From 1990 to 1992 he was the advertising director of those publications.

Between 1992 and 1999, he worked in six states including 5 1/2 years as a publisher in Martinsburg, W.Va. He also served as publisher at Parkersburg in West Virginia. He started his advertising career in 1972 as an advertising salesperson for Ogden Newspapers, the parent company of the Breeze Newspapers.

The Breeze Newspapers are long-time members of CPF. They distribute 18 publications with a circulation of over 300,000 in the Collier, Lee and Charlotte County markets.

Glarrow replaces J.W. Owens, who moved from Florida to Savannah, Ga., to assume the role of publisher of the Savannah Pennysaver.
