Ingram Was the Big Winner
Jennifer Ingram was the big winner in the Community Papers of Florida (CPF) quarterly "Best of the Best" classified sales contest.

Buy the luck of the draw Ingram, the head of telemarketers in Tampa, Fla., won $2,250.

In all, $5,000 was awarded to the reps and their managers who finished in the top five in the points contest. An additional $5,000 is awarded by a drawing. Each rep (and their manager) who sells an ad during the quarter qualifies for the drawing.

Ann Waite of Tower Publications in Gainesville won the points contest and an additional $250 in the drawing. Pam Slaven of Tower took third place and won $400. That added up to $1,650 for the department's manager, Charlie Delatorre.

Taking second place in the points contest was Anna Vasquez of Hometown News in Fort Pierce. That accomplishment earned her and manager Pat Snyder $700 each.

Earning enough points for fourth place and $250 was Laura Frimer of Fifth place and $150 went to Sue Reese, also of struck gold in the drawing with Sue Reese winning the top prize of $1,000, Rhonda Mahaffey the second place prize of $700, and Sunni Mesa $150. These figures added up to the top of award of $2,250 for Ingram.

The drawing's fourth place prize of $400 went to Carol Chandoo of Forum Publications in Deerfield Beach. Department manager Mickie Carusos received an equal amount.
