CPF's Annual Conference Returns to Orlando
The Community Papers of Florida (CPF) will return to the Renaissance Orlando (Airport) Hotel for its scheduled conference May 2-3, 2008.

This will be the seventh year that CPF has used this location. Great rates, outstanding service and food, and a great central Florida location have made the Renaissance a popular choice in the past. This year CPF members will be treated to a newly-remodeled facility that can be summed up in one word - innovative!

The non-smoking hotel has been completely redesigned with new guest rooms, more meeting space, bold colors and an exciting new decor boasting subtle touches of Caribbean flavor.

The rooms include a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, a spacious writing desk, and a host of electronics including high-speed Internet access, three telephones with voice mail and data port capabilities, a plug-in panel for laptops, MP3 players, digital cameras and video game players, and a big screen LCD HDTV. A coffee maker and refrigerator is also included.

This year's conference will be highlighted by keynote speaker Stavros Cosmopulos, a nationally and internationally recognized advertising creative director for more than three decades.

The Leadership Institute will provide several training classes. A session on the Internet will be included, a publishers breakout is planned, and a graphics panel will be scheduled by the Regional Training Committee. Also included in the plans are a sales and publishers media panel as well as the Awards for Excellence luncheon.

Once again, the conference will close with its famous Kentucky Derby Reception.
